Dino, born in Bosnia during wartime, fled to Vorarlberg in 1992, graduating from high school. His artistic trajectory spans studies at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences MultiMediaArt to the University of Television and Film Munich in cinematography.
His debut film, KREATURA, was nominated for the Golden Frog at the CamerImage. GERMANIA, his second documentary, gained nationwide distribution and won the Max Ophüls Prize for Best Film Music.
Beyond film, Dino served as an artistic research assistant at the HFF Munich. His projects range from series like FÜXE to acclaimed documentaries like I AM TIGRESS, which won the Bosnian Camera Award.
Currently, Dino is working on the cinematography for the feature documentary KITKAT- LIFE IS A CIRCUS.
The documentary TEACHES OF PEACHES premieres at Berlinale 2024 in the section Panorama and wins the Teddy Award for best documentary.
